Der Automate Show (officially known as the U.S. Ausstellung für industrielle Automatisierung und Robotik) is a professional trade fair hosted by the Association for Advancing Automation (A3) — which incorporates the Robotic Industries Association (RIA), the Automated Imaging Association (AIA), and the Motion Control & Motor Association (MCMA). It is heldbiennially (once every two years).
Prior to 2019, the exhibition was consistently held in Chicago. In 2021, it was relocated to Detroit for the first time, and has since alternated between these two cities.
Now recognized as one of thelargest and most influentialrobotics and automation technology exhibitions in North America, Automate brings together professionals from the global robotics and automation sector to share cutting-edge technologies and groundbreaking innovations.
In 2022, the event welcomed approximately500 exhibitors, covered an exhibition area of14,000 Quadratmeter, and attracted an attendance of20,000 visitors.
