TouchThink Strong industrial display Accelerates Offshore Oil and Gas Exploration and Development
As the main energy source of modern industrial development, oil has become an important tool for international political and economic games.
The Industry Development Background
In the past hundred years, the exploration and development of land oil and gas resources has gradually become saturated. Facing the increasing global energy demand, marine exploration has become the main “battlefield” for oil and gas energy competition today, which has further spawned a huge demand for advanced automated offshore drilling systems.
Offshore drilling platform is one of the most effective means to obtain marine energy. This kind of “offshore giant” can explore marine energy with a depth of thousands of meters, with high automation and high-tech content.
The Project Application Requirements
An energy science and technology company focuses on the development of automation products for oil fields and drilling platforms, and its project needs a robust industrial display as a man-machine interface for offshore drilling operations to meet the equipment monitoring and control needs of drilling platform bosses in drilling rooms, central control rooms and other scenarios.
Due to the influence factors such as salt fog, water vapor and vibration in the offshore environment, and the drilling is usually continuous for 24 horas, the supporting industrial display needs to have strong protection, durability and stability.
TouchThink product scheme
I would like to provide customers with a 21.5-inch rugged industrial display TPC215-M5. Its reliable design and application performance are excellent in improving drilling efficiency.
- Wide temperature and pressure, extreme environmental adaptation
TPC215-M5 adopts a widescreen ratio of 16:9, and the large size of 21.5” can meet the complete and comprehensive information display requirements. The panel supports 1920*1080 FHD full HD display, 178 wide viewing angle, and 10-point capacitive touch, and can be observed from multiple angles and touched at will, which is convenient for grasping and interacting information such as rig status, instruments and sensors, and ensures the safety and efficiency of drilling operation.
- Heavy industry, stable and reliable application industrial display
TPC215-M5 adopts a reliable closed and strong structure, and high-strength aluminum alloy is used as the main raw material of the shell, which is corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant, and has excellent heat dissipation performance, so that it can support the stable operation of the drilling platform for 24 horas. The waterproof rubber strip is added to the back cover to further resist the invasion of water and dust, and with the internal vibration reduction layout, impact damage such as vibration can be prevented.
- Wide temperature and pressure, extreme environmental adaptation
TPC215-M5 has also undergone rigorous tests such as electromagnetic interference control and anti-static, and is designed to meet the operating standards of -10℃~60℃ wide temperature and DC12V-36V wide pressure for potential threats such as high and low temperature and voltage fluctuation, ensuring reliability and durability under extreme conditions, and is very suitable for harsh environments such as offshore drilling.
- Installation compatibility, convenient for equipment integration
TPC215-M5 can support a variety of installation methods, such as external embedment, cantilever type and boom type, to meet the requirements of different operating environments. Especially in some information transformation projects of old drilling, TPC215-M5 can be easily integrated with existing equipment, which not only improves the use efficiency of equipment, but also reduces the transformation cost.
At present, tactile industrial display and industrial integrated machine have been applied in many oil drilling projects. With their reliable performance and strong design, they can achieve stable operation, meet customer needs, and improve the efficiency of offshore oil and gas exploration and development.
